High-Quality Replacement Windows

Window replacements bring instant curb appeal, energy efficiency, and increased value to your home. Drafty old windows are more likely to leak, stick, and fail. Broken seals and rotted sills in aged window frames can make your house look dated.

Midwest Roofing, Siding & Windows installs high-quality window replacements in the Twin Cities area and beyond. Our replacement window options offer the following benefits to your home:

  • Enhancing energy efficiency
  • Increasing your home’s value

  • Lowering heating & cooling costs
  • Reducing maintenance costs
  • Providing home safety
  • Adding curb appeal
  • Creating a noise barrier
  • Improving home comfort

Window Styles

Each type of window has specific features and characteristics. Whether you want to open your windows or control the light that enters your house, we offer functional replacement window options to suit your needs. Here are the standard window options Midwest Roofing, Siding & Windows offers.

The double-hung style has a classic look and operable upper and lower sashes. Raising the lower sash and dropping the top sash allow warm air to exit through the top and cool air to enter via the bottom. These window sashes also tilt inward, which allows easy cleaning from inside your home.

The single-hung style looks like its double-hung counterparts. However, a few differences exist between the two options. With the single-hung, only the lower sash moves. Like double-hung models, specific single-hung models allow you to tilt the sash inward to clean your window’s exterior.

The sliding style has one or more panels that slide horizontally along lower or upper tracks. This alternative allows you to open half of your window for ventilation.

A casement is the earliest form of movable window option. Framed in either wood or metal, it pivots or hinges at the side of its vertically hung sash. This feature allows the window to open in or out like a door.

An awning style is hinged on the top and opens outward from the bottom, providing ventilation and protection from the elements. This option is often placed higher on walls to ensure privacy or with more prominent stationary features to offer a better view.

The bay style has a beautiful picture window at the center and windows on either side. These windows provide an expansive view of the outdoor natural surroundings, extra sunlight, and better ventilation and airflow.

The bow style is similar to the bay style, but the structure is smaller and rounded. Since this option protrudes out from the side of your house, it offers a dramatic three-dimensional effect.
